They say you can never go home again. I guess it's true in a way. It will never be the same..those wonderful memories are just that. Every time I go back to New York though, I try to capture a little bit of the past here and there. We always drive down Eastview Road, the street I grew up on. What for I don't know other than I left a little part of my heart there.
I always hope for a little bit of snow if we go in the wintertime and boy did we get our wish! Over a foot of snow..we drove around in it for hours. I had forgotten how quiet it gets when everything is blanketed in white. I couldn't get enough of it.
I love bringing my girls to all of my old haunts and they get a kick out of it. Every trip brings new memories of its own. I'll always be a little torn between two coasts. California is my home now..but NY will always be home too.
It's like that Neil Diamond song.."LA's fine but it ain't home, New York's home but it ain't mine no more.." I get that. I really get that.

Traci and Shane got married!
I was truly honored to be asked to photograph this Christmas wedding. I've known the family for many years and have watched their girls grow into beautiful young women.
The weather was perfect. The majestic pine trees on the golf course were rather dreamy. I've never seen a happier bride. She was completely unflustered!
Congratulations Traci and Shane, you are meant for each other.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day, I wish you all the happiness in the world as you begin your life together!
